Amber is an illustrator and bartender originally from Alabama living in Southern California with her dog, Jimi Hendrix.
She loves anime, Japanese art, printmaking, comics/graphic novels, mid century design and typography, zines, book binding, sticker design, Halloween, kitschy Christmas decorations, trying out new art supplies or techniques, and bright colors.
When she’s not creating art she can be found watching old Batman cartoons with Jimi.
The name Bambi Hyde is the combination of an old nickname from collage and her pen name from a poetry website.
